Description
Phuket Tiger Park is a wildlife encounter attraction where visitors can get up close and take photos with tigers of various ages and sizes in a controlled and supervised environment.
It’s designed for tourism with a focus on interaction, photography, and visitor experience, like Tiger Kingdom in Chiang Mai and Pattaya.
Tiger Sizes You Can Meet
You can choose to interact with tigers of different sizes:
| Size | Approx. | Age Notes |
| Smallest | 3-5 Months | Very playful, cute cubs |
| Small | 6-12 Months | Slightly larger, still active |
| Medium | 1-2 Years | Young adults |
| Big | 2+ years | Fully grown adult tigers |
You can select 1 or multiple sizes for your experience.
What to Expect
- 10–15 minutes inside the cage per size
- Handlers supervise the entire time
- You can touch, hug, and pose with the tigers
- Tigers are usually calm and raised in captivity
Ethical Note
Like many tiger attractions in Thailand, Phuket Tiger Park is controversial. Critics raise concerns about:
- Tiger welfare
- Drug sedation claims
- Use of animals for tourism
It’s advised to research and decide based on your ethical comfort level.
