Description
Andamanda Phuket is a large, Thai heritage–themed water and leisure park in Phuket. It blends stories, local culture,architecture, and modern water-rides. The design draws from Thai mythologies (pirates, hidden treasure, legends), Sino-Portuguese architecture, limestone landscapes, elements from the Andaman Sea etc. It’s fairly new (opened May 2022).
What’s Inside / Attractions
- The park area is about 100,000 m2 (≈10 hectares) of rides, pools, leisure zones.
- It has 5 themed zones: Pearl Palace, Naga Jungle, Emerald Forest, Coral World, and Great Andaman Bay.
- Number of attractions: over 50 rides/slides, about 32 water slides. Some of the featured attractions are:
- Rolling Ripples: the long lazy river.
- Great Andaman Bay: the artificial wave pool that can generate waves up to ~3 meters high. Tripadvisor+1
- FlowRider: for surfing / board ride experience.
- Other slides & attractions: Racing Nagas, Eagle Flyer, Dragon’s Drop, Sliding Rocks, etc
- There are also relaxation and premium spaces like cabanas (Emerald Forest, Coral World) for groups, loungers, beach-type areas within the park.
- Food & dining: several themed food hubs, Thai & international cuisine, swim-up bar (Wave Bar), restaurants like “The Village”, “Tropical Beach Restaurant” etc.
